Hard to believe that fall is right around the corner, and for us at YNOP, that means Sharathon! In today's Network Update, Network General Manager Roger Lonnquist starts to unveil our plans for Sharathon.
The most meaningful thing we can all be doing with our time right now is spending it in prayer for the many things pulling at our hope, and our nation, as this has been such a key year of change for all of us. We believe in a God who still moves among His people, and we will be putting an emphasis on prayer during our Sharathon this year, so listen, be encouraged, pray, and share!
This morning, Roger and Carlene visited with us about ministry happening here in the U.S. and over in Tanzania, Africa. We have one more look at a staff member from Radio Uhai, we've so enjoyed getting to know our newest "co-workers" for the last month. We also get to hear a very powerful testimony coming from a listener of New Life Radio. We hope you are encouraged by what you hear today, and we ask that you pray for the ministry being done in our listening area in the the US, and that you'll pray for the staff, the listeners, and the community of Tanzania. Let God's will be done!
Life Issues Institute's CEO, Brad Mattes, discussed recent developments within Planned Parenthood concerning the abortion provider's disassociation with its founder, Margaret Sanger. Brad also introduced new statistics that overwhelmingly show evidence of Planned Parenthood's targeting of minority women for their abortion business.
On today's Network Update, we are pleased to introduce you to one more staff member at Radio Uhai, our new ministry radio partner in ministry in Tanzania. It really is amazing to know what God is doing by His connecting YNOP and Radio Uhai earlier this year. The more we learn about the staff members there, and the more testimonies we hear, the more we realize just how important this connection is. It is truly making a difference not only for the audience of Radio Uhai, but for all the staff members who work there, who have a real heart desire to share Jesus over the airwaves with Tanzania. As always, listen, be encouraged, pray, and share!
In this month's conversation with Child Bridge, we were once again so blessed to talk to Titus & Jacqueline Bergren. Jacqueline is the Butte Outreach & Support Coordinator for Child Bridge, and together they share a powerful story of how God put the need for involvement in foster care and adoption on their hearts and lead them and their family to a journey that has both had its struggles and its joys.
Titus and Jacqueline are the real deal. They love Jesus, and they love what Scripture has to say about what love really looks like lived out on the earth. They share important information on how to trust God with your heart as you journey this road one step at a time, and talk about how it's changed their family as their entire family is in agreement about how they can help children in need together. You will be so blessed by their hearts as they speak into and attest to Father's wisdom as it pertains to foster and adoptive care. As always, listen, be encouraged, pray, and share!
The mission of Child Bridge is "finding and equipping foster and adoptive families for Montana children who have suffered abuse and neglect." Visit them at: childbridgemontana.org
On today's Network Update, we are giving praise to God for the results of our Summer Challenge. We are so very grateful to the many listeners who have sown into the financial needs of YNOP, and been such an answer to prayer! We also get to hear about the personal life and heart of one more staff member at Radio Uhai, our new ministry partner in Tanzania.
It is very exciting to know all that God is doing not only in our corner of the world, but also reaching so many in Tanzania, providing hope and encouragement! As always, listen, be encouraged, pray and share!
With one week left in this year's Summer Challenge, we got to hear a very encouraging update about Tanzania from Roger Lonnquist today. Listen in to hear more about our new partner radio station in Tabora, Tanzania-- Radio Uhai. We are grateful to everyone who has been praying for us, and all who have provided financially so far. Today, YNOP interviewed one of our own staff members, Associate Network Manager, Carlene Prince, to discuss the exciting news of the release of her first CD and her launch of “Do It Again Ministries.” A ministry through which Carlene will be providing hope and encouragement through worship concerts, speaking engagements, podcasts, and more. Carlene will still be with us at YNOP for a while, but we want to share the exciting news of her additional ministry in which we are praying many will come to Jesus. Listen as Carlene shares her heart about what led to this new season… and be sure to share this conversation so others may be encouraged in their own journeys as they wait on the Lord.
