As we continue watching the Lord work in Tanzania, we were excited to have the chance to visit with a Montana family that is preparing to head to Tanzania for two years of missions work! This is a beautiful and inspiring story of how God's fingerprints are all over the journey of our lives, leading us into the fullness of what He has prepared for us. We hope you will be moved to listen to the Stewart family's story, and be sure to sign up for their updates, for info on how you can support them financially and in prayer by signing up at: faithjoygo.wordpress.com

Another conversation on our Day Of Hope! We talked to pastor, author, and President of Leading The Way Ministry, Dr. Michael Youssef, about prayer and his new book "Life Changing Prayers". Dr. Youssef talked at length about the importance of being committed to prayer, and the need to pray confidently and expectantly to the God who always hears and always answers.

In this EXTENDED interview - Carlene shares a conversation with Jack Deere, formerly Associate Professor of Old Testament at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is also a writer and lecturer who speaks on friendship with God and on the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and author of the bestselling book "Surprised By The Power Of The Spirit." But today, we have a conversation with Jack about his book released recently "Even In Our Darkness: A Story of Beauty in a Broken Life". In this powerful memoir, "Even In Our Darkness" shows the unvarnished story of the Christian life - in which Jack shares very candidly the true story of his life growing up, his father's suicide, his rise to fame, and the years that followed - including losing his son to suicide, his wife to alcoholism, and wrestling his own addictions eventually surrendering control and experiencing true healing.

On our Day of Hope, Marci and Carlene had the beautiful privilege of talking with Madeline Carroll, who starred in the blockbuster movie that was released this year "I Can Only Imagine," she plays the character of "Shannon." Madeline shares an incredible story of how she had decided she was going to quit acting because any of the roles she was auditioning for would have caused her to compromise her values - and the miracle that happened the next day after she laid it all down into God's hands. Her heart to reach people in the film industry and beyond for Jesus is a very precious story to be inspired by.

Bart Millard, the lead singer of MercyMe, joined us for a special conversation on our Day Of Hope. Bart shares about his troubled upbringing, but also about the God of hope as he had a front-row seat to watching God change his father from a man that he hated to a man he wanted to become. Bart's story is full of the mercy of God and this is a beautiful testimony that you don't want to miss! Of course, we chose our theme for Sharathon this year based off of the hit song "I Can Only Imagine" which was also the title of the blockbuster movie that was released this year, also portraying the story of Bart's childhood and the hit song he later penned from the story of his life.

Carlene recently got a chance to record a conversation with Stephen & Mary Elise Duncan, otherwise known as The Worship Coalition, about their first album that was just released in August, and some of the very moving stories behind the songs. They also have an incredible ministry to pastors and leaders, and share from the heart, their desire to see healthy community built around those leaders, and are very honest about the cost in having such a ministry. We believe you will be blessed by hearing their testimony - and their genuine heart behind what they do, and why.
